My hubby and I went up from Boston and did the canopy tour for our 3-yr anniversary and to see the foliage. We were a little iffy at first about paying $110 for it, but once it got started, we agreed it was worth even more! The guides Mike and Paul were very encouraging, friendly, funny and still professional. They encouraged tons of pictures, offered a hat when I got chilly, and even took a video for us of the 830 zipline. I would recommend this to ANYONE and we will be going many more times, as well as booking the tour with Mike & Paul because they were so awesome!

Bretton Woods Canopy Tours is located in a long established Ski Resort. Pre-tour training included very clear instructions and each guest had an opportunity to try the practice line.

The course started out slow and low and progressed in height, length and speed giving everyone a chance to get comfortable with their new skills. 3 repels (short, medium and a long intra-tree) added to the adventure.

The guides (Patrick & Bobby) were very encouraging & confident, always paying attention to safety and what you do when zipping to give you tips on how to approach the next line.

Not much in the way of eco-educational information, but the views were truly breathtaking. The tour included 2 long downhill hike.

The lines are mostly very high above the ground and on most lines you break out of the trees to wide open air. It was so windy the day we rode my partner was petrified most of the time. If it weren't for the guides who kept her feeling safe and confident she may not have been able to complete this tour.

No formal wrap uo. Returned to gearing area and they helped with getting gear off and put away.

All in all a very exciting adventure with an unbeliveably beautiful location sure to thrill even the hard core adventurist.
